Young Adults

The years after high school through early 30s are a time of self-discovery and transition—joyful, confusing, and a lot of new experiences. At First Congregational Church of Stamford, we recognize the need for a welcoming and nurturing environment where young adults can discuss and explore their feelings and beliefs about spirituality. Sorting through education, relationships, work, body image, and so much more creates a special time to ask questions about God, life, and love. Our church is Open and Affirming, so we respect individuals from diverse backgrounds and sexual orientations. FCC Stamford is a safe spiritual home that offers acceptance and support.

Young adults worship and serve together. Whether reading scripture in worship service, making meals for homeless and poor individuals, singing in the choir, helping to rebuild or retrofit houses, young adults at FCC Stamford use these activities and more for self-discovery and growth.

Young adults also have fun together—potlucks, progressive meals, touch football. Other programs being planned are:
